okay, so I was inspired to make this pumpkin fairy house for sophia to play with,
& she LOVES it!
I keep it on the table and I frequently catch her playing with it using her dollhouse dolls.
I decided not to carve into the pumpkin, due to lack of time and .... toddlers..
but I think it turned out super cute and sophia has the best time with it!
It was a really quick and easy craft!
see supplies and instructions below,
& watch my youtube short to see how I piece it all together!
[not pictured, lots of hot glue]
SUPPLIES:
INSTRUCTIONS:
FIRST .
cut out your base from the moss mat and stick it to your large wood round
SECOND .
attach your moss around the sides of the mat
THIRD .
build your steps out of your small wood rounds by stacking three on top of each other & hot glue them in place
FOURTH .
hot glue your door onto your pumpkin at the top of your steps
LAST .
add some decorative leaves, pine cones, or whatever you have lying around the house to add some interest to your little pumpkin fairy house! I made the heart arrow on my cricut and then cut it out in the shape of a sign pointing to the house, and hot glued it to a small dowel.
[alternative to hot glue would be glue dots if you do not want to make everything permanent! that way you can take it all down once the season is over and reuse the fairy door and moss on another fairy project!]
have fun crafting your own pumpkin fairy houses and tag me in your posts!
can't wait to see what y'all come up with!! oh, and add me as a friend <3
